If there is an answer, why is it not obvious? A structure this large should not be difficult to notice.
The video's reply is that nothing is being concealed. The equipment required to perceive it is still being built, and an older set of equipment is still running alongside it.
Both animal and real human
The first part describes the position we are actually in: two natures in the same being.
One is the older, self-serving apparatus — self-preservation, immediate need, the readiness to treat other beings as means. It works, it kept our ancestors alive, and it has not been switched off.
The other is the developing one: empathy, fairness, the sense that other beings matter in their own right.
Both are present, and the conflict between them is not a personal failing but a description of the stage. It is the same transition reincarnation and karma places humanity in, examined from the inside rather than as a position on a map.
What intuition requires
The middle section explains what would have to develop for the mystery to become perceptible, and it is more specific than the usual talk about raising consciousness.
Intuition — the faculty that would deliver the answer directly rather than by inference — is described as requiring both intelligence and feeling, developed and working together.
Intelligence alone produces analysis without warmth. Feeling alone produces warmth without discrimination. Neither yields intuition, and the combination is what is being assembled now — intellectualised feeling under another name. The eventual result is cosmic consciousness, in which the mystery is experienced rather than reasoned toward.
So the hiddenness has a cause with a mechanism. Not a locked door, but an instrument that is not finished.
The classroom
Part three supplies the ethical consequence, and it is the part worth carrying away.
If people are at different points in this development, then differences of perspective are like different grades in a school. The person who does not see what you see is not being obtuse; they are somewhere else on the same road, and so are you relative to someone further along.
The conclusion drawn is against judgement and toward attending to your own development — not out of politeness, but because judgement is a category error once you have accepted the developmental account.
That is what makes a common truth possible in the long run. Not everyone agreeing now, but everyone travelling the same road at different points along it.
Key ideas
- Nothing is being concealed — the capacity to perceive it is still developing.
- We are both animal and real human at once, and the conflict between them describes the stage rather than a failing.
- Intuition requires intelligence and feeling developed together; neither alone produces it.
- Cosmic consciousness is where the mystery is experienced directly rather than reasoned toward.
- Differences of perspective are positions on one road, which makes judgement a category error.
